Is Bachelorette the new Bridesmaids? I miss the chick flicks of the ’80s and ’90s

Entertain Me

Watch out Bridesmaids, there’s a new–though older— (seemingly) irreverent chick flick coming to town. This time, the wedding-party-goes-wild movies stars Kirsten Dunst, Lizzy Caplan, Isla Fisher, and Rebel Wilson. As a bonus, for me anyway, it also stars Adam Scott and James Marsden, both whom I love.

Though I wasn’t a big fan of Bridesmaids–it was funny enough, but just didn’t live up to the hype, in my opinion–I’m a chick flick kinda girl and based on that fact and the trailer, I’ll give it a chance.

I do have to say however, that I miss my ’80s and ’90 movies, as implausible as they sometimes were. Where’s the Meg Ryan for the new century? And no, it’s not Rachel McAdam, though I do like her.

Will you watch?
