Libby Juliá-Vázquez has been writing passionately for years. Her love of words began when she learned to read at an early age. Writing was simply a natural extension of that love.
Formerly the Chief Content Officer for Being Latino, Inc. where she oversaw all aspects of the online magazine’s strategic direction including content and partnerships. Her extensive experience has made her a sought-after expert in content, social media, and editing.
Before beginning her career as an editor and writer she worked in higher education administration. She is still involved with students and education as a volunteer mentor.
When not managing work projects or volunteering, she maintains a blog about Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood, and a personal blog, Moments in My Head, providing thoughts on the randomness of everyday life.
In addition to writing, she also has a passion for singing, dancing, traveling, photography, and sports.
A self-proclaimed gypsy, Libby has lived in New York, Puerto Rico, and Utah, and now resides in Chicago.
